School closures and bus cancellations

For the Stratford Area Rural (Country) Schools, ALL Rural (Country) buses have been cancelled and the following schools:

St.Patrick’s (Kinkora) – is closed

Central Perth Elementary School – is closed

Downie Central Public School – is closed

North Easthope Public School – is closed

Sprucedale Public School – closed

All Period 6 exams scheduled for today at St. Michael Catholic Secondary School will be written tomorrow. All busing is canceled to the school today.

All rural buses to Stratford Central and Northwestern Secondary Schools are cancelled. For students in grades 7/8, the schools are open for those who can arrive safely. Exams scheduled for today are pushed back until tomorrow.

In the Mitchell Area, all rural buses have been cancelled.  Upper Thames Elementary School and Mitchell District High School remain open for students who can arrive safely.

Mitchell District High School exams scheduled for today will be postponed until tomorrow.  Tuesday’s exams will be written on Wednesday.

In the Milverton Region, all buses have been cancelled, and both Milverton PS and Mornington Central are closed.

In the Clinton and Seaforth area, all rural buses and all specialized vehicles have been cancelled and the following schools:

Clinton PS – school remains open for those who can arrive safely

St. Joseph’s School (Clinton) – School is closed.

Seaforth PS – In town buses will run and the school is open for those who can arrive there safely

St. James School (Seaforth) – In town buses will run and the school is open for those who can arrive safely

For Central Huron Secondary School – No buses and school is open for study purposes. Monday’s exams will be written on Tuesday morning and Tuesday’s exams will be written on Wednesday morning.

St. Anne’s Catholic Secondary School – School is closed.  Period 4 exams rescheduled to Tuesday Jan. 28th

In Town of St. Marys and Area, all rural country buses and specialized transportation vehicles have been cancelled.

South Perth Centennial School is closed

St. Marys DVCI Elementary is closed

St. Marys DVCI Secondary is closed

Exams scheduled for today (period 2) will be postponed until tomorrow (Tues. Jan. 28 at 8:45 am) and exams now scheduled for Jan. 28 will be scheduled for Jan. 29 at 8:45 am.

Little Falls is closed

Holy Name of Mary is closed

For the town of Listowel schools, all country and all specialized transportation vehicles have been cancelled.

St Mary ‘s in Listowel is closed.

Listowel District Secondary School is open for study purposes. Monday’s exams will be written Tuesday and Tuesday’s exams will be written on Wednesday.

Listowel Central and Listowel Eastdale are open for those who can arrive safely.

There are no buses to rural schools in the Listowel area.

Elma, Howick, Northwoods, Wallace Public Schools are closed.

For Central Huron Secondary School – No buses and school is open for study purposes. Monday’s exams will be written on Tuesday morning and Tuesday’s exams will be written on Wednesday morning.

In South Huron, all Rural (Country) buses and all Specialized Transportation vehicles to the Catholic Schools have been cancelled and the following schools:

Our Lady of Mount Carmel – is closed to students.

St. Boniface in Zurich – is closed to students.

Precious Blood School in Exeter – The In-Town portions of routes will run at regular times. The school will remain open for students who can arrive safely.

In the South Huron region for the public schools, all Rural (Country) buses and all Specialized Transportation Vehicles have been cancelled, and the following schools:

Stephen Central School is closed to students.

Bluewater Coast in Hensall is closed to students.

South Huron 7/8 Campus — the In-town route will run at regular times.  The school will remain open for students who can arrive safely.

South Huron District High School will remain open for study purposes only.

In the North Huron Region, all school buses and all specialized transportation buses are cancelled. As a result, the following schools are closed:

Maitland River Elementary School

Brookside Public School

Sacred Heart School in Wingham

FE Madill School – today’s exams will be written tomorrow.

In the Goderich and Area, Rural Buses have been cancelled.

St. Mary’s School, Goderich, – In town buses are running and the school will remain open for students that can arrive safely.

Goderich Public School – In town buses are running and the school will remain open for students that can arrive safely.

Goderich District Collegiate Institute – The School will remain open for those who can arrive safely. Exams scheduled for today will be written tomorrow morning.

In Exeter, Rural buses are cancelled but the in-town bus is running.  The school is open for students who can arrive safely.
