Davidson, Jean

Lillian Jean Marie Davidson, age 84, passed away peacefully at Greenwood Court, Stratford on March 27, 2015. She was born in Stratford, March 8, 1931, daughter of the late William and Alice Davidson. Jean graduated from Stratford Normal School in 1951. She taught at Alderdale, Jasper and the Niagara Peninsula, retiring in 1986. She was a member of Thamesview United Church and the Retired Women Teachers of Ontario. She is survived by sisters-in-law Margaret Broughton, Ruth Davidson, Phyllis Davidson and many nieces and nephews and their families. Besides her parents she was predeceased by brothers Aubrey, Jack, Harold and Herbert Davidson and sisters Isobel Davidson, Wilma Clarke and Shirley Davidson. Cremation will take place and a graveside service will be held in the spring at Carlingford Union Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society through the W.G.
