Nater responds to Canada Health Care Accord “funeral” in Stratford

John Nater says he wants to “set the record straight” on health care funding.

This comes in response to a demonstration in front of MP Gary Schellenberger’s Stratford office Tuesday afternoon.

The Perth-Wellington Conservative Candidate says the Harper Government isn’t cutting spending:

Nater says the loss of the Canada Health Accord won’t lead to the privatization of health care:

Nater adds the Harper Government is actually increasing funding:

The Stratford and Area Concerned Citizens held a “funeral” to mourn the loss of the Canada Health Accord.

That federal-provincial agreement ran from 2004 to 2014.
