It’s going to get loud at Northwestern Secondary School today.
Over 350 Avon Maitland students will be taking part in the first annual “Loud and Proud Mass Band” event.
Students in Grades 5 through 8 will have a day of instrumental workshops and rehearsals.
It’ll culminate in a concert at 6:30 p.m. featuring all the students performing as one band.
All are welcome to attend the concert.
Admission is by donation with all proceeds going to support instrumental music programs in the school board.
