The Stratford Perth Humane Society has hit an important target. They had a 100% live release rate in April.
To keep that up the SPHS is adopting something called the “Capacity for Care” system. Capacity for Care is aimed at creating ideal conditions for the animals.
It includes keeping them comfortable, keeping them pain, injury and disease free, and allowing the animals to behave normally. Capacity for Care will be implemented at the new Animal Welfare Centre on Griffith Road.
