A youth has been arrested thanks to an observant neighbour.
The Perth County OPP says they got a call from an Atwood resident on Friday evening. Some things had been stolen from their garage.
It turned out that a neighbour had spotted a young man going into the garage.
The neighbour got in touch with the homeowner who then confronted the young man. The youth refused to identify himself and left the scene.
The OPP got a description and were able to figure out who it was. He was arrested on Sunday. He’s facing three charges including two counts of theft under $5,000.
