Thief gets into home through open garage door

The OPP is asking for the public’s help after some jewellery was stolen from a home in St. Marys.

Police say someone got in to the house in the Thames Valley Retirement Community on Tuesday.  The attached garage door had been left open allowing the thief to get in.

Police are looking for a middle aged Caucasian man who stands about 6’ tall and was wearing a sun hat and a light coloured shirt.
