The first step in a new chapter for the Perth County EMS happens this week.
There’s going to be a sod-turning ceremony for the paramedic station and county headquarters in Stratford.  Construction on the building is scheduled to begin on August 17th and wrap up in the spring of next year.
The ceremony is happening at 480 Douro Street, the future site of the headquarters, on Thursday at 3:00 p.m.
