MPP Pettapiece saves money on expenses

Expense reports for Ontario’s MPPs for the last year are in.

Perth-Wellington’s representative, Randy Pettapiece, spent $30,620 on travelling.  The lion’s share of that figure, $20,507, went towards accommodation in Toronto.

Pettapiece’s office and support staff expenses came to $248,469.  Most of that money, $182,984, went to paying staff.

He ended up in between two neighbouring MPPs for office and staff expenses.  Ernie Hardeman, the MPP for Oxford, spent $250,624 and Huron-Bruce’s Lisa Thompson spent $237,379

Combined Pettapiece spent $16,271 less on office and travel expenses compared to last year.
