A futuristic farm machine with local roots is going to be featured on the Discovery Channel. Sebringville-based Nuhn Industries’ Lagoon Crawler will be on Daily Planet.

The Lagoon Crawler is a remote controlled amphibious vehicle. It can drive into a farm lagoon, convert into a boat, agitate the lagoon, and then drive back out when it’s emptied.
Nuhn Industries says there are now well over 100 units on the market in places like China, Russia, and The United States as well as Canada.
The Daily Planet episode featuring the Lagoon Crawler airs Thursday night at 7:00 p.m.
