Liberal candidate McCotter reacts to recession

Stats Canada has confirmed the nation is in a recession.

The agency released gross domestic products numbers on Tuesday.  They show that the GDP has shrunk for two consecutive quarters.

Perth-Wellington Liberal candidate Stephen McCotter takes issue with the Harper government’s heavy investment in the fossil fuel industry. But he adds it wasn’t just oil and gas that fell:

McCotter says the economy needs help to get going again:

He adds his opponents’ plans of balanced budgets aren’t going to right the ship:

McCotter is running against New Democrat Ethan Rabidoux, Conservative John Nater, and Christian Heritage Party candidate Irma DeVries. Election Day is set for October 19th.
