The Stratford Perth Humane Society is smiling.
They’ve just gotten a $12,000 boost to the Animal Welfare Centre campaign.
The money is coming from this year’s Tim Hortons Smile Cookie promotion.
For one week in September Tim Hortons restaurants sold the special once-a-year cookies for a $1 each.
The five in Stratford donated all proceeds from the cookie sales to the Humane Society.
The society is looking to raise $1,000,000 to pay for the renovation costs of their new building on Griffith Road.
