Dairy XPO’s Cow Coliseum gets new home

The Canadian Dairy XPO will be building its Cow Coliseum on the old fairgrounds. A Beacon Herald report says Stratford City Council approved the move at Monday’s meeting.

The building has been put behind the Rotary Complex for the last three years. However organizers were told that location was in violation of a number of fire and building codes.

The Dairy XPO will be signing a three-year lease with the city for the land and will build the Coliseum with its own money. The approval also includes a budget of up to $30,000 in city money to improve access between the Rotary Complex and the fairgrounds.
