The Avon Maitland Elementary Teachers’ Local has reached a tentative agreement with the Avon Maitland District School Board.
The deal was announced today. Terms won’t be released until it’s ratified.
A central agreement at the provincial level had been reached earlier this month.
Avon Maitland Elementary Teachers’ Federation President Kent Cleland says things took longer to work out locally during the two-tiered bargaining process.
