First Syrian refugee family should arrive in Stratford soon

The first Syrian refugee family should be in Stratford by the end of the year. The family has gotten approval to relocate here.

Stratford City Councillor Kathy Vassilakos is the chair of the steering committee helping guide the efforts. She says it’s been going well so far:

She adds she hasn’t heard from many naysayers:

At this point nearly $120,000 has been raised. The goal is to raise $225,000 to help at least five families.
