Red scarves going up in downtown Stratford for World AIDS Day

Today is World AIDS Day.

To mark it volunteers with the Regional HIV/AIDS Connection will be hitting the streets in Stratford as part of the Red Scarf Project. They’ll be leaving red scarves around the downtown area.

People who find them are encouraged to take them home and use them.

Each scarf has an information tag attached about HIV/AIDS which includes information about the Perth District Health Unit’s Sexual Health Clinic.

You can learn more about World AIDS Day at this website and the PDHU’s Sexual Health Clinic at this website.
