Woman pleads guilty to impaired driving, gets 15 months in jail

The woman who caused a nasty car crash near Stratford is going to jail.

According to a report in the Beacon Herald 44-year-old Tammy-Lynn Dingman was in court on Monday. The West Perth woman pleaded guilty to impaired driving causing bodily harm.

She was sentenced to 15 months behind bars, one year probation, and was banned from driving for four years.

Dingman was speeding on Embro Road on July 20th last year when she hit a minivan head-on. Inside the van was a family of seven.

In total 10 people had to be taken to the hospital, many with serious injuries.
