The United Way Perth-Huron is giving more funding for newcomer and refugee services. The money is going to the Avon Maitland District School Board’s Centre for Employment and Learning.
With the funding the CEL will be increasing hours for English as Second Language teachers in both counties until March. A longer term funding application is under review.
CEL offices can be found in Stratford, Listowel, Wingham, Goderich, Clinton, Exeter and Seaforth.
