UTRCA says waterways are running high and fast

The Upper Thames River Conservation Authority is reminding people to stay away from the water.

Sunday’s rain combined with warmer than normal temperatures have led to a lot of melting. That means much of the Thames River watershed is running high and fast.

Banks can be slippery and some maybe disguised by lingering snow, making them even more dangerous. Children and pets especially should be kept far away from the waterways.
