Renovations at the Stratford-Perth Humane Society’s new Animal Welfare Centre are officially underway. The ground breaking happened Tuesday.
In December the society announced they’d reached a donation campaign goal of $1,000,000 to fund the project. The new building is on Griffith Road and will be a significant upgrade over the current facilities on Douro Street.
The society says the renovations should be finished by June with a grand opening to follow.
