Today is 211 Day. The United Way Perth-Huron is using the opportunity to spread the word on the phone service.
You can call 211 in both counties. It gives people information on community and social services.
211 is answered live, 24 hours-a-day, every day of the year and is available in over 170 languages.
United Way Executive Director Ryan Erb calls it an important resource for our community as it gives people one place to find what they need to help with many of life’s challenges.
211 was brought to the area and is supported financially by the United Way.
