Roulston, Dorothy

Passed away peacefully at Knollcrest Lodge, Milverton on Tuesday, May 17, 2016.  Dorothy was born 92 years ago, a daughter of the late Isaac Kipfer and former Julia Book.  Beloved wife of Tom Roulston who predeceased her July 25, 2012 and with whom she had celebrated 72 years of marriage.  Loving mother of Jack and Carol Roulston of St. Pauls, Wayne and Sharon Roulston of Milverton, Lisa and Murray Kuntze of R.R. # 1 Brunner.  Awesome Grandmother of Dave and Colleen Roulston,  Chris Marriott, Gary Roulston, Janet and David Daglish, Janice and Mike Dzaidyk, Pamela and Andrew Jenkins, Keena and Tom Ewing, Alicia Kuntze (Anand), Kate Kuntze (Kyle).  Lovingly remembered by her Great-Grandchildren Michelle, Brandon, Justin, Nicole, Cameron, Stuart, MacKenzie, Candice, Kayla (Chris), Chance, Kenndy, Piper, Laurel, Mara, Julia, and Emily and Great-Great-Grandchildren Hudson and Foster.

Dear sister of Ron and Judy Kipfer of Milverton.

Sadly missed by her sisters-in-law Elaine Bundscho, Katherine Kipfer, Ruth Roulston, all of Milverton, Fern Hawthorne of Ridgetown, Jackie and Lloyd Schoenhals of Stratford.

Dorothy was predeceased by a son Cyrus Michael Roulston (1973), brothers Ross Kipfer (1974) and Carl Kipfer (1992) sisters-in-law & brothers-in-law Reitta and Bill Bell, Ralph and Irene Roulston, Robert Roulston, George Roulston, Tom Hawthorne, Jim Bundscho.

Dorothy was a member of St. Paul’s United Church, Milverton, the Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxillary, Branch 565, and Gravelridge Women’s Institute.  She enjoyed volunteering at Brunner Nursing Home for many years.  She loved playing cards with her family, knitting, needlepoint, dancing, and travelling.

Cremation has taken place.  Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at St. Paul’s United Church, Milverton from 1-2 p.m. followed by the memorial service at 2 p.m. Pastor Krista Elizabeth Winn officiating.  Interment in Greenwood Cemetery, Milverton.

As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to The Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario, Knollcrest Lodge, or St. Paul’s United Church would be appreciated.
