With summer unofficially underway the OPP is warning people about bush parties. This comes after one got out of hand on Bronson Line and Staffa Road two weeks ago.
What was supposed to be a “few friends” ballooned into 2,000 to 3,000 teenagers thanks to social media. That led to a number of problems like injuries and a lot of underage, drunken youth.
Police say bush parties present a lot of risks like possible alcohol poisoning and sexual assault. They’re encouraging parents to think twice before allowing their children to attend one.
