Charity BBQ in Stratford raises just under $7,500 for Fort McMurray

That’s how much last Thursday’s charity barbecue raised for Fort McMurray.

Employees of the City of Stratford teamed up with some local businesses like Harvey’s, M&M Meats, Stratford Foodland, and Sobeys to host the event. Caitlin Gillis with the city says the total will get bumped up to $7,500 and a cheque will be given to the local Red Cross later this week.
