Stratford Police respond to more than 270 calls over holiday weekend

The Stratford Police say they were kept busy over the Victoria Day long weekend.

Officers responded to more than 270 calls. A good number of those were noise complaints over loud parties or fireworks.

On top of that Inspector Sam Theocharis says a man known to police was found to be very high. He was arrested for his own safety and for breaching probation.

Officers also ran R.I.D.E. checks and stopped roughly 900 vehicles. They handed out several three day suspensions.
