A North Perth man is facing impaired driving charges after an SUV took out a mailbox.
The OPP says it happened Wednesday evening on Perth Line 88. Another driver called police after seeing the SUV hit the mailbox after which it crossed both lanes and drove down a steep embankment.
Police say the 71-year-old driver was unhurt but showing signs of impairment. He was arrested and failed two breath tests.
On top of the charges his licence has been suspended for 90 days and his SUV impounded for seven.
