With the nice weather here local parks are filled with children and the patios are packed with customers. If you’re out and about don’t forget that these are smoke-free zones now.
The Perth District Health Unit is reminding people about last year’s changes to the Smoke-Free Ontario Act.
Those changes banned smoking on bar and restaurant patios and smoking within 20 metres of parks, playgrounds, sports fields and spectator areas on publicly-owned land.
