County of Perth puts plan in place in case of Canada Post lockout

The County of Perth has put a plan in place to keep services running in the event of a lockout at Canada Post.

The county says if you have a fine for a provincial offence it still has to be paid by the due date. If there’s a work stoppage at Canada Post do not mail your payment.

You can pay in person at a Provincial Offences Office, online at this website, or by phone by calling the Clerk at (519) 271-0531 ext. 3.

Applications to the Planning and Development Department will continue to be processed and notices will be made public through email and local media. You can get more details about the county’s contingency plan for a postal lockout by getting in touch with them through their website.
