C.R. Plastics still looking to the future after move to new facility

Stratford’s C.R. Plastics is still looking to the future.

The locally owned and operated furniture manufacturer held a grand opening earlier this week for their new factory on Erie Street. The former KSR building is about three times the size of their old facility on Romeo Street.

C.R. Plastics was started in 1994 by Jamie Bailey & Trudie Wiseman.

Vice President of Finance Bruce Ballantyne says the idea was to help make the world a little greener:

This is the fourth factory the company has moved into since it was founded. Ballantyne says even with this move they’ve still got expansion on their minds:

C.R. Plastics employs about 225 people.
