Pedestrian charged after she was hit by vehicle in Stratford

A Hamilton woman has been charged with disobeying a signal after she was hit by a vehicle in Stratford.

The police say it happened at Erie and Ontario Thursday afternoon. The 70-year-old walked onto the road while the “Don’t Walk” signal was on.

She had non-life threatening injuries and was taken to Stratford General. She was then taken to London for some precautionary tests.
