The Stratford Fire Department had a great showing at the Canadian National FireFit Championships.
Firefighter Chris Crozier posted a time of one minute and 19 seconds in the rookie finals last weekend in Calgary.
Not only was that the best rookie time this, but it fast enough to set the rookie record.
Fire fighters don their full gear for the competition and then take part in drills that test the physical skills they’d use in a fire.
