Pettapiece asks Liberals if his constituents need to move to get their attention

Randy Pettapiece is once again blasting the provincial government over the cost of hydro.

During question period the Perth-Wellington MPP demanded the premier start listening to his constituents. Since the Liberals first took office the average household’s annual hydro bill has gone up $1,000.

Pettapiece said the government is to blame for the big bills:

He says the Liberal government only starting paying attention to hydro rates after they lost a Toronto area riding:

Since the loss in Scarborough-Rouge River the government has announced an eight per cent rebate on hydro bills. Pettapiece says hydro rate increases that are coming down the line are going to wipe out any savings most people will see from that.
