It’s harvest season. That means you’re going to see lots of farm vehicles on the roads.
The Perth County OPP is reminding drivers to share the road. The OPP says drivers should be watching for left turns as not all farm vehicles have turn signals.
Keep an eye out for farmers signalling turns with the same hand signals as someone on a bicycle. The OPP adds you should only pass a farm vehicle when it’s absolutely safe to do so and you should give yourself a wide berth to get around it.
They’re asking drivers to be courteous and patient during this busy time.
