A horse and buggy crash near in Newton led to serious injuries for a Perth East man. The OPP says it happened Thursday afternoon on Line 72.
The horse got spooked, ran into oncoming traffic and was then hit by a car. The 43-year-old driver was thrown from the buggy onto the road.
Although his injuries were serious they were non-life threatening.
