The skate park project in Stratford has taken an important step forward.
A proposal from New Line Skateparks to build it came into the city back in August. However since that was the only bid the city received, despite two requests for proposals, an exemption to the procurement policy is needed.
A report in the Beacon Herald says the city’s finance subcommittee recommended that exemption at Tuesday’s meeting. The recommendation will now have to go through the finance committee and then full council.
