Woodstock Chief of Police says community will come together, heal

Woodstock’s Chief of Police says the city will continue to heal and move forward. This comes after a former nurse was accused of killing eight people.

Chief William Renton says the city needs to focus on the future and come together to instill confidence in their long-term care facilities.

Elizabeth Tracey Mae Wettlaufer worked as a nurse at Caressant Care in Woodstock where police say she used a drug to murder seven residents.

Chief Renton says the actions of one person do not define the excellence found in Woodstock.
