Lillian Pestell formerly of Monkton, passed away peacefully at Knollcrest Lodge, Milverton on Tuesday November 22, 2016 at the age of 82.
Beloved wife of the late Jack Pestell who predeceased her in 2001. Loving mother of Ken and Val, Bonnie and Larry Krieger, Patti Fuhr, Brian and Darlene, Doug and Yvonne, Murt and Sheri. Special grandma of Catherine, Chad, Martina, Tracy, Tom, Nicole, Jacob, Amanda, Derek, Courtney, Jillian, Katie, Jordon, Spencer and 10 great-grandchildren. Fondly remembered by Colleen Pestell, Gary Carpenter, Pat Fizell, Paula Sanderson, Bonnie Vanos and the extended Pestell family.
Predeceased by her parents Russell and Margaret Maddess, son Garry, daughter Lynda and grandsons Craig and Brandon.
Relatives and friends are invited to share their memories at the Elma Memorial Community Centre, 251 Main Street, Atwood, on Friday November 25 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service to celebrate Lillian’s life will be held on Saturday November 26, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Marc Fraser officiating. Interment in Elma Centre Cemetery, Atwood.
As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to Alzheimer Society, MS Society or the Canadian Cancer Society appreciated by the family.
