Amnesty International is asking locals to pick up a pen this weekend.
The group is hosting a Write for Rights event. The annual campaign encourages people to speak out through letters or social media about injustices around the world.
You can go and sit and down and write a letter or simply add your signature to a quick action. Local organizer Anne Carbert says it’s important to stand with people around the world:
