The Stratford Perth Residential Hospice is a go.
The South West LHIN has approved funding for six palliative care beds in Stratford. The LHIN has also approved funding for four beds in central Huron County and negotiations are underway to secure the site near Clinton.
The Rotary Club of Stratford got the ball rolling on this project back in 2013 with the City of Stratford providing financial support in the early stages. Although only six beds have been approved for funding the Site Committee says it’ll be building a 10-bed facility to accommodate future needs.
