Harold Albert Cooper, in his 73rd year, after a courageous battle, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at Stratford General Hospital. Born in Stratford, son of the late Harold and Theresa (Connolly) Cooper. Predeceased by his loving partner Lucille Johnston . Survived by his siblings Alexander (Glenna) Cooper of Bayfield, Betty Ann Vassallo (Steve Molnar) of London, Nancy Mead of Stratford and Eileen Becker of Stratford. Harold will be remembered by his nieces and nephews Theda, Joanne, Cheryl, Debbie, Karen, Alex, Brian and his special friends Ray Schweitzer and Roy and Shirley Pautler. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the Stratford General Hospital, 3rd Floor Surgery, doctors, nurses and staff for the loving care and kindness given to Harold during his lengthy hospital stay. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Harold’s life will take place in the near future.
