Huron County OPP lays 137 charges during Easter campaign

The results are in from the Huron County OPP’s Easter weekend seat belt blitz. The OPP says its officers laid 137 charges over the holiday.

Of those charges only nine were seat belt related. The rest were for various Highway Traffic Act offences with speeding being the most common.

The Huron County OPP also says it investigated a total of nine crashes during the campaign, one of which  led to minor injuries.
