The Upper Thames River Conservation Authority has issued a Flood Watch.
The agency says localized flooding is possible in some low lying areas over the weekend. Flooding will depend on the total amount of rain that falls with forecasts ranging between 40 and 110 mm around the region. Road closures are a possibility.
The UTRCA is, as always, reminding people to be very cautious around area waterways and to keep children and pets away from them. The agency is monitoring things and will issue more updates as needed.
