Oxford County M.P.P. not Happy with Response

An inquiry into the murder of eight senior patients in Ontario should have come sooner.

This is from Oxford MPP Ernie Hardeman as the province has announced the public inquiry following the sentencing of Elizabeth Wettlaufer.

Hardeman says he tried to contact the Minister of Health two weeks ago about this issue and never got a response.

Wettlaufer was sentenced to 25 years in prison after pleading guilty to killing eight patients at four different long-term care homes with insulin injects.

Hardeman says the families deserve to know why this happened.
