St. Mary’s Shifting Focus to Youth Employment with New Workshops

The Town of St. Mary’s is teaming up with Partners in Employment for two workshops aimed at helping youth in the workplace.

The free career workshops will tackle how to efficiently search for a job, communicate, develop skill sets and how to work effectively on a team.

The municipality’s Economic Development and Culture Manger Laurel Davies Snyder says the focus of the workshops was decided on thanks to a Perth4Youth survey.

The first workshop on generational differences in the workplace is set for Thursday at 2:00pm and the second is set for Tuesday, August 1^st at 1:00pm.

Both are being hosted at the St. Mary’s Youth Centre.
