More Positive West Nile Tests in Perth County

Tests on a pool of mosquitoes trapped in St. Marys have come back positive for West Nile Virus.  The Perth District Health Unit says this is the second pool in the county to test positive.  Last week, the virus was found in a pool trapped in Mitchell.  The health unit says there have been no human cases of West Nile reported in Perth County.  People are being reminded to long-sleeved, light-coloured clothing and use insect repellent with DEET to help protect themselves from mosquito bites.
