M.P.P. Fights for Long Term Care Beds

Randy Pettapiece says long-term care beds need to stay in Perth-Wellington.  The local MPP brought his message to Queen’s Park along with over 35-hundred signed petitions to keep the beds local after the closure of Hillside Manor in Mitchell.  Along with the petitions, Pettapiece brought letters and emails from residents to present to the Minister of Health and Long-Term Care.  A second public meeting on the closure of Hillside Manor is expected to be held in late September or early October.
