W. Howard Poole, Canadian Veteran and Electrician at the St. Marys Cement Plant for 43 years, passed away peacefully at St. Marys Memorial Hospital on Remembrance Day, Nov. 11, 2014, in his 91st year. Beloved husband of 65 years to June (nee Haney). Cherished father of Vicki and Kenneth Westlake of Sarnia, and Randy Poole and Minda of Port Elgin. Grandfather of Scott and Kelly Westlake of Illderton, Andrew and Alaina Westlake of Sarnia, Great-Papa of Ava Westlake and remembered by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Joseph Poole and Eleanor Dickieson, four sisters and two brothers. Visitation at the Andrew L. Hodges Funeral Home, 47 Wellington St. South, St. Marys (519-284-2820) on Friday, Nov. 14, from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be conducted at the ST. MARYS PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, 147 Widder St. East, St. Marys, on Saturday, Nov. 15, 2014 at 11 a.m. with visiting at the church one hour prior. Interment in St. Marys Cemetery.
