Transitioning out of elementary school can be a big step for kids.
To ease the transition, schools throughout the area will host open houses over the next couple of weeks for students heading off to high school next September and their families.
Stratford Central Secondary School will host one tonight from 7:00pm to 9:00pm both for kids in Grades 6 and 8.
St Marys D.C.V.I. and Listowel District Secondary School will host their open houses tomorrow night.
The one in St Marys runs from 6:30pm – 8:30pm for students in Grades 6 and 8 while the one in Listowel is from 7:00pm to 9:00pm for kids in Grade 8.
Stratford Northwestern will host Grades 6 and 8 students next Tuesday from 7:00pm to 9:00pm.
Mitchell District High School will do the same on Wednesday, January 29th from 6:30pm – 8:00pm for Grade 8 students and their families.
