HogJog raises $45,000 for Stratford House of Blessing

The big red van at Stratford House of Blessing got a big overhaul.

The 2025 HogJog raised $45,000 for the local food bank, and those funds will help pay for a game changing, mobile, improvement that will benefit the community, Resource Coordinator, Aaron Balzer told MyStratfordNow.

“The HogJog asked us to share a project that we wanted to do and so that money is actually going to retrofitting our red van to become a refrigerated vehicle.”

Balzer said they were blown away and grateful when they heard how much money was raised through the 18th annual run held at the Rotary Complex.

Organizers said there were 464 participants this year, along with some amazing sponsors and donors.

Balzer said the refrigerated vehicle allows the food bank to safely offer more fresh and healthy food to those who need it most.
