A major storm is heading our way and it won’t be snow this time.

Environment Canada has issued a rainfall warning for Stratford, Perth and Huron counties.

It’s expected to begin near noon.

Between 25 and 50 millimeters of rain could fall on the region by tomorrow.

The warm weather and heavy rainfall will make local rivers and streams dangerous.

People are urged to stay away from waterways in the area and to make sure their kids and pets stay away from them also.
